Deriving WRB soil names
Release of WRB Tool for German Soil Data (KA5), Version 2.0
The WRB tool is a database application that derives soil names according to the World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB). Input data comprise soil descriptive data obtained using the German Soil Survey Guidelines, 5th ed. (KA5) in the field, and lab data as commonly analysed in Germany. Version 2.0 produces optionally soil names according to WRB edition 2014 (update 2015) or 2006 (update 2007). The tool is bilingual (German and English). It can be used with MS Office Access 32- and 64-bit versions. The downloadable zip file contains a short manual. more...
