Seismic image (profile SO-122-23) across the eastern Murray Ridge slope
Part of seismic profile 122-23 across the eastern Murray Ridge slope. Interpretation shows the acoustic basement of continental(?) origin with volcano-magmatic cover. The drift sediments below base-Mid-Miocene (bMM) unconformity (purple) onlap the basement and were tilted together with lower parts of the channel-levee complexes during a period of uplift.
